Day's Echo is a new kind of personal diary. An ordinary diary waits for you to open it. Day's Echo writes you first: every evening you receive a letter with your entries from the past.
Every evening at the time you choose, a letter arrives. Inside — your entries from:
If there's no entry for a period — that echo is skipped. New users start with an empty letter and gradually build up history. After a year the real magic begins: you see yourself a year ago.
Reply to the letter — and your text automatically becomes today's entry. No apps to open. Everything through email: receive, read, reply.
Alternatively — you can write through the app: feed, search, calendar, statistics. Installs on your phone as a PWA.
In your reply you can add tasks using a special syntax — each task on a new line, at the start of the line:
Example reply with tasks:
Diary text and tasks live in the same reply — the app separates them automatically. Tasks are saved in the Tasks section; reminders arrive as a separate email.
Enter your date of birth and expected lifespan — Day's Echo shows how many weeks are ahead. Not to pressure — to notice the value of each day and stop putting off what matters.
Write a letter to your future self — with goals, plans, expectations — and choose a delivery date. On that day it appears in your evening letter as a special echo.
The diary is completely private. Sign in via magic link to your email — no password. Data is stored only on the server; Google cannot see or index it.
